Training and further education in the field of welding technology makes an important contribution to a high quality standard in practice. Unfortunately, many participants don't find the time to do so.
Distance learning courses therefore complement and extend the range of courses perfectly. Deciding when, where and how to learn increases the flexibility of learning.
The special feature of the GSI SLVs is that participants can alternatively choose the SLV locations Duisburg, Fellbach, Hamburg or Halle for attendance phases.
Since 2001, more than 5,000 participants have opted for GSI SLV distance learning courses. With the current program expansion SFM Part 3 (SFM = Schweissfachmann/welding specialist), the training figures in the e-Learning segment will increase even further.

Our learning program can be flexibly adapted to the needs and timetable of the participants. Learning in the evening and on weekends reduces the loss of working hours for the employer. In addition, the elimination of travel and expense costs leads to significant cost savings.
